What this benefit is
A bid from a service-disabled veteran business that does business in Oklahoma, or keeps an office here, is scored with a three-percentage-point bonus.
What it's worth: Three percentage points added to the bid score
- Three points on a scored evaluation. It decides close bids and nothing else — no contract is reserved.
- Where a solicitation is awarded on lowest price rather than on a score, there is no score for the points to attach to.
Who is entitled to it
- You served in the U.S. armed forces.
- You own, or are forming, a business.
- You have a compensable VA disability rating.
- Your home is in Oklahoma.
