Florida is regularly listed as waiving the concealed weapon licence fee for veterans. It does not. We searched the whole of §790.06: the only licensing exemption in the section is for certified law enforcement, correctional and correctional probation officers. Veterans pay the same fee as everyone else — up to $55 for a first licence and up to $45 on renewal, plus fingerprint processing. What they get is speed.
