  2. 2Take the national label anyway if you sell direct. The veteran branding label listed on the page is national, free to a certified veteran producer, and it works on a market stall regardless of who administers it.
  3. 3Use the general state programmes on their own terms. Apiary, dairy, produce, maple, meat and plant health programmes, and the licensing library, are all live — they simply do not have a veteran route, so apply as a farmer.
  4. 4Ask the agency directly whether anything veteran-specific has been added since. An absence established from a page today is not a permanent finding.
  5. 5If capital is the problem, look at the general beginning-farmer and farm viability routes named on the same page rather than searching for a veteran-only one.
