In-State Tuition on Where You Live, Not Where You Are From

Tennessee charges the in-state rate to a veteran or anyone eligible for VA educational benefits who is enrolled at a Tennessee public institution, USING THE BENEFIT AT THAT INSTITUTION, and living in Tennessee — REGARDLESS OF FORMAL STATE OF RESIDENCY. There is no domicile test and no waiting period; living here while you study is the whole requirement. The condition people miss is that you must actually be USING the VA education benefit at that school.
