How to claim it
- 1Apply with the VA award letter showing the 100% permanent rating, proof of residency (state driver's licence or non-driver ID), and — for a hunting licence — a previously held hunting licence from anywhere or a hunter-safety certificate.
- 2Pay the $10 administrative fee once. The licence is perpetual: valid for as long as you remain a resident, with nothing to renew.
- 3Nonresidents from the two reciprocal neighbouring states may apply, but must meet this state's own bar — the 100% permanent rating — whatever their home state's criteria.
