How to claim it
- 1Bring VA evidence of the 100% total and permanent service-connected rating to any deputy registrar — the statute's definition of total service-connected disability lives in §171.01, subd. 51.
- 2The exemption covers a passenger automobile, one-ton pickup truck, motorcycle or recreational vehicle — up to two registered with the exemption at the same time, including vehicles registered jointly with a spouse or domestic partner.
- 3A vehicle purchase by a qualifying veteran is also exempt from the motor vehicle sales tax under §297B.03.
