What it's worth: Up to $2,800 a year full time — $1,400 a semester
- Full time is up to $2,800 a year; three-quarter time $2,100; half time $1,400 — or the student's actual eligible tuition, whichever is less.
- You must enrol at least half time and hold a cumulative GPA of at least 2.25.
Who is entitled to it
- You are the child of the veteran.
- You are at least 16.
- You are within the age window.
- Your parent died or became totally and permanently disabled as a result of military service.
- You have been a Michigan resident for the twelve months before applying.
- Your home is in Michigan.
