What it's worth: All systemwide tuition at a California Community College, CSU or UC
- The same waiver as Plan A. What differs is who can claim it, not what it is worth.
- The income limit is the STUDENT’s income, and it is reset each academic year.
Who is entitled to it
- You are the child of a veteran.
- Your parent has a service-connected disability rating.
- Your income is under the Plan B limit.
- You are a California resident.
- You are enrolled at or applying to a California public institution.
- Your home is in California.

Deadline: Per academic year — reapply every year- 1Take form DVS 40 to your County Veterans Service Office.
- 2If you are under 27 and unmarried, ask them to check Plan A first — it has no income limit and you cannot hold both.
