How to claim it
Deadline: Before registration opens each term- 1Register with the campus veterans office as early as you can — priority is applied at enrolment, and applying after registration opens is too late for that term.
- 2Take the DD-214. An other-than-honorable discharge still qualifies here, which is not true of most benefits, so do not rule yourself out.
- 3Check your dates: four academic years of priority, and it must be used within 15 years of leaving active duty.
