How to claim it

  2. 2Take the discharge document. For this cohort that may be a WD AGO or NAVPERS form rather than a DD-214.
  3. 3If the veteran has died, apply anyway. The diploma may be awarded posthumously and received by next of kin.
  4. 4Ask about Ed. Code 51440 as well if the veteran is living and studying — it covers credit for military service.
