Rent and Utilities for the Children of a Veteran Who Has Died or Been Hospitalised

The Veterans' Child Welfare Service pays up to three months of rent or house payments and utilities for the minor children of a veteran who has recently died, been hospitalised or become medically incapacitated, where the family has limited or no income. More is available at the Director's discretion. Counselling and referrals come with it. It is funded from general revenue and subsidised by the American Legion and Auxiliary.
