26 Feb Service Connected Conditions
If you have a non-VA emergency care related to a specific rated disability incurred during service or a non-service connected medical condition related to and considered to be responsible for deteriorating the condition connected to service, VA may pay for your medical expenses. Provided you are actively involved in VA Vocational rehabilitation activities and you need treatment for any approved reason, you may be entitled to receive coverage of any condition. They might also pay if you have been rated as suffering from a total disability which is permanent in nature as a result of your current disability connected to service.
An emergency is said to have come to an end immediately when VA determines that you should be transferred from your current non-VA residence to a recognized VA Medical Center.
