Native American Direct Loan Guide

The VA Native American Direct Loan (NADL) program helps eligible Native American veterans and their spouses buy, build, or improve homes on federal trust land.

What is the NADL Program?

The Native American Direct Loan program, established in 1992, helps overcome barriers to homeownership on tribal lands. Unlike traditional VA loans where the VA guarantees loans made by private lenders, the VA acts as the direct lender for NADLs, offering competitive rates and flexible terms.
