MyCAA Scholarship Program

Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts

Up to $4,000 Available

MyCAA provides financial assistance for military spouses to pursue licenses, certifications, or associate degrees in high-demand, high-growth portable career fields and occupations.

Eligible Programs:

  • Professional licenses and certifications
  • Associate degrees
  • Career-focused training programs
  • Online and in-person courses

Popular Career Fields:

Eligibility Requirements:

Available to spouses of active duty service members in pay grades E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, and O-1 to O-2. Must be able to complete coursework while sponsor is on Title 10 military orders.

Transferred GI Bill Benefits

Post-9/11 GI Bill Transfer

Up to 36 Months

Eligible service members can transfer unused Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to their spouse or children, providing comprehensive education funding.

Benefits Include:

  • Full tuition and fees coverage
  • Monthly housing allowance
  • Annual book and supply stipend
  • Yellow Ribbon Program eligibility

Transfer Requirements:

  • Service member must have 6+ years of service
  • Must commit to 4 additional years
  • Transfer must occur while on active duty
  • Spouse must use benefits within 15 years
