Should the US assassinate suspected terrorists in foreign countries?

“There is a growing debate on the use of unmanned drones and Black-ops to facilitate the assassination of suspected terrorists on foreign soil. Though strict guidelines are governing the use of such measures; there have been many instances when civilian lives were lost during such operations.
Those in favor consider it a necessary measure against the alternative of a viable risk of terrorist attacks in the United States. Opponents argue that it is unethical, undemocratic and further threatens national security.
What are your thoughts? Should the US assassinate suspected terrorists in foreign countries?

    Yes, when possible on seriously high value targets. Collateral damage would be other hard core believers.

    No because of the same reasons I don’t believe in the death penalty.
