Should the President offer tax breaks to individual companies to keep jobs in the U.S.?

“In March 2016, Carrier air conditioning company decided to move around 1,400 jobs from Indiana to Mexico. In November 2016, Trump made a deal of $7 million tax break in exchange of 1000 jobs.
Proponents believe that tax breaks help in sustaining jobs in the private sector, as they tend to move outside for more profits and lesser taxes. Opponents think this encourages companies to push the government for tax breaks.
