Should the government use economic stimulus to aid the country during times of recession?

“Economic stimulus is the monetary policy made by the government to support the economy in the times of recession. In 2009, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed by the Congress in response to the 2008 financial crisis. It included using the funds more on education, infrastructure, health, and unemployment.
Given the present scenario of Trump’s trade war and declining profits of big companies like Apple, Ford, and General Motors, to name a few; what do you think about the current economic stimulus and its usage during a crisis?

    Yes, but very carefully and targeted at the middle class. The upper class does not need it, the lower class does not pay taxes, Obama tried this with a Mortgage subsidy and it failed miserably. There was no guide line forcing the money to go to the mortgage lender vice the individuals.

    This country should not be going into recessions due to greedy politicians. This country is wealthy enough to fix its monetary issues. The stimulus should be used to assist Americans first.
