Should the Federal Reserve Bank be audited by Congress?

“The Federal Reserve is the central banking system of the United States. The primary goal of the bank is to maintain the US government’s money supply and sustain the nation’s banks during recessions.
Proponents of an audit believe it is necessary as the Federal Reserve bank failed to fulfill its duties in the 2008 financial crisis and trillions of dollars had to be provided as a bailout package. Opponents of the audit argue that there are other competent bodies which already audit the Federal Reserve and consider Congressional review as unnecessary meddling.
What do you think? Should Congress audit the Federal Reserve Bank?

Today is the day. Now is the moment. Vote for change.
