Do you want to save democracy from crumbling? If your answer is yes, there’s no better way than offering your time and energy to volunteer for a cause that demands your immediate attention.

In Djibouti, democracy is being demolished brick by brick by an authoritarian leader President Omar Guelleh. Much like the dictators of the modern world, Guelleh of Djibouti relies on repression, intimidation, and corruption to retain and restrict power and wealth. The upcoming presidential elections (April 2021) is our one shot of stopping the unstoppable. Our goal is to heal the ailing electoral process of Djibouti to heal the nation. We are looking for veterans who dare to show up and take charge of the change needed. You will be flown down to Djibouti to administer free, fair, and peaceful elections with local activists.

Volunteer with us to be the messenger of democracy in Djibouti!

To ensure their first clean election in decades, we plan to send 12 decorated US veterans to Djibouti. These energetic, committed thought leaders will act as self-appointed poll watchers, patrolling the election process to prevent voter fraud or intimidation and ensure a fair and equal chance to all candidates willing to contest in the elections. Their role is not to influence the election’s outcome in favor of any candidate but to allow the people of Djibouti to safely and confidently cast a ballot for the candidate they truly believe in.
