26 Feb VA Benefits Introduction
As a veteran, you were made aware of many of the VA benefits available to you, like health care, money for your education, and preferential hiring for certain jobs, during your transition. However, these benefits are not automatic.
In many cases, you will have to invest time and effort before you can receive benefits, or you may find yourself in a situation where you are denied benefits that you believe you are rightfully entitled to. The process of applying for and receiving benefits can be very long and difficult, and therefore many veterans do not take advantage of their benefits at all. With the right information, you can make sure that you are one of the veterans who gets the benefits they are entitled to.
Also, the federal government provides benefits that are meant to take care of your family if anything should happen to you, including resources to help your family say goodbye without incurring significant costs and with the support of the military community.
