24 Feb TRICARE Retired Reserve
TRICARE Retired Reserve is available to qualifying retired Reserve and National Guard members and to their families and survivors.
To be eligible, the sponsor must be qualified for non-regular retirement, under the age of 60, and not enrolled in the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program. If the sponsor meets these requirements, family members or surviving immediate family members of a sponsor who had Retired Reserve at the time of death will also be eligible.
TRICARE Retired Reserve Coverage and Costs
TRICARE Retired Reserve is available worldwide. As with other TRICARE plans, seeking treatment at a non-network provider will be more costly and will require beneficiaries to submit their own paperwork, while service with an in-network provider will be cheaper and paperwork will be filed by the provider.
TRICARE Retired Reserve coverage is subject to a monthly premium, and annual deductible, and a cost-share for any visits or treatment after the deductible is met.
For detailed information about premiums, deductibles, and cost-shares for specific treatments, visit https://tricare.mil/Costs/HealthPlanCosts/TRR.
