US Military Leaders Against Providing Longer-Range Missiles To Ukraine

Several senior US military leaders have advised the White House not to send their longer-range missiles to Ukraine as it might provoke a wider war with Russia.

According to the latest news, these defense officials advised the Biden Administration to resist supplying their Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMs) as they might lead to a broader war with Russia. The Russian foreign ministry spokesperson also warned the US against providing such a “red line” weapon.

On Thursday, the Biden Administration announced that a military assistance package worth $600 million, containing artillery rounds, mines and HIMARS, was sent to Ukraine. However, the package did not include ATACMs.

Do you think Ukraine should be provided with longer-range missiles to defend itself from Russian attacks?
