Should working illegal immigrants be given temporary amnesty?

Proponents argue consideration of proof of employment and willingness to pay taxes.
Opponents believe this encourages illegal immigration. They demand deportation.

    Absolutely not! They should go through the immigration process just like any other LEGAL immigrant must do, and that should be based on merit. Giving amnesty encourage more illegal immigration.

    Currently I say no, but we should quickly address this part of the immigration law, to allow those who come to work and easier way to do it, and include a path to citizenship over time.

    If they’re working, being productive and paying taxes like everyone else – what does it hurt? They’re contributing to the greater good.
