15 Jan Should the U.S. provide military assistance to defend Ukraine from Russia?
“The crisis in Ukraine has been building up since the past 4 years. In August 2014, the Ukrainian parliament declared that its territory was under external aggression by Russia. The U.S. and other U.N. affiliate states condemned this act of war.
The Trump administration announced last December that the U.S. military would begin sending military gear to Ukraine. Opponents of military action state that the U.S. should not get involved in regional conflicts that do not pose a direct threat. Those in favor believe that Russian military aggression against Ukraine endangers the balance of power in the region and the U.S. army interference will prevent the dispute from widening to Europe.
What are your thoughts? Should the U.S. provide military assistance to defend Ukraine from Russia?”
