06 Dec Should the U.S. accept refugees from Syria?
“There are around 5 million refugees outside of Syria.
The U.S. has been requested from its Syrian allies to consider helping with the crisis. Proponents of accepting refugees believe that the U.S. has a moral obligation to parallel its partners in Europe and allow refugees. Opponents argue that the U.S. should maintain distance from this crisis and allowing refugees from the Middle East can lead to a risk of permitting terrorists inside borders.
What do you think? Should the U.S. accept refugees from Syria?
