06 Dec Should producers be required to label genetically engineered foods (GMOs)?
“A genetically modified organism is engineered by taking genes from one species and inserting into another to gain a desired trait or quality. GMO proponents state their goal is to increase nutritional benefits or productivity.
Currently, GMO foods in the United States are not listed differently by the FDA and do not require labeling. So far there have been no reports of ill effects from GMO foods.
Those in favor of labeling GMO’s differently argue that people have the right to know what they are consuming. Opponents believe that mandatory GMO labeling solves no purpose and is counterproductive.
What are your thoughts? Should producers be required to label genetically engineered foods (GMOs)?

AND THE MAD SCIENTIST AT WORK, CALLED DR Quack…so YES!!! the labels should be put on packages so consumers, can be aware of what they are buying…. as the Lord said, we will know them by their fruits, they or them that produce such things. which is genetically abuse of animals, as the cloned male female counterparts…will be revealed…
