Should children of illegal immigrants be granted legal citizenship?

U.S. constitution considers every person born or naturalized in the United States as citizens of the United States and of the State where they reside. Opponents of birthright citizenship argue that there is no clarity about babies born to parents who were in the United States unlawfully.
Proponents say that overturning birthright citizenship would increase the number of undocumented immigrants and cost the taxpayers billions, further reducing the tax base.
