Should businesses be required to have women on their board of directors?

Companies across the United States are progressively addressing gender parity in the boardroom and leadership. In 2016, women held 20.2% of board positions in Fortune 500 companies

Many insist that gender bias in the workplace exists. At the same time, there is also a growing concern that equality should only be regarding opportunities and no one should try to impose uniformity of outcome as it would make existing structure volatile instead of strengthening a sustainable model.
