Do You Think Our Fallen Veterans Deserve More Such Initiatives For Their Sacrifice?

Wreaths Across America’s theme for this year is “Find a way to serve,” which is only fitting for local organizer Michael Cash, who places wreaths each year on the graves of our fallen veterans. Cash is also the founder of Operation Family, a local chapter of Wreaths Across America. In addition to providing grants for veterans to attend workshops on post-traumatic stress and suicide, Operation Family sends highly skilled doctors to teach these courses at the Veterans Administration. Depending on funding availability, other support services are also provided.

In addition to helping people find common ground, this project honors those who fought for the country’s freedom and teaches children how much a living memorial means to their families. Rather than just decorating headstones, it should be thought of as a tribute that is observed every year.
