9/11 marked the beginning of a new era – an era saturated with the fear of terrorism. Despite a comprehensive strategy and a focussed war on terrorism, the United States live under the constant threat of terrorist attacks. Almost all the agencies fear that we’ll see more attacks in the coming decades, not fewer. Each step which is taken to eliminate terrorism somehow manifests itself into giving way to another set of radical extremism.
