Do you believe that Trump uses criminal charges to gain an advantage in his presidential campaign?

When the Manhattan District Attorney last week accused former President Donald Trump of 34 felonies, the most significant legal words he spoke were “not guilty.” The most important, though, from a political standpoint might be “election interference.”

There is no solid evidence that the 2020 election was rigged, according to federal and state election officials as well as Trump’s own attorney general. The courts, including those Trump selected judges, flatly rejected the former president’s accusations of fraud.

According to Harvard political scientist Steven Levitsky, Trump is acting like a politician who is under legal scrutiny.
