“The foremost goal of every publicly-owned company has invariably been to maximize shareholder value by creating as much profit as possible. Corporations in the U.S. made gains of around 2.32 trillion U.S. dollars in the third quarter of 2018. Then again, a very valid question is – how much profit is too much profit?
