Biden says “US Withdrawal From Afghanistan is the Right Decision”

After President Ashraf Ghani fled the nation, the Taliban surged into Kabul on Sunday, bringing an end to two decades of unsuccessful attempts to install Western-style liberal democracy.

The White House rushed to explain how the government in Afghanistan disintegrated so swiftly as terrible sights played out on television, including terrified Afghans clinging to a US transport jet before the flight.

Rather than acknowledging he made a mistake, he said the events of the last few days validated his choice, claiming that US forces should not fight a war that Afghan soldiers are unwilling to fight.

“We gave them every chance to determine their own future. We could not provide them with the will to fight for that future, “Biden said.

Today is the day. Now is the moment. Vote for change.
