The 4th of July will be a military discount day at Target.
For the Fourth of July, a new Target military discount will give veterans, active-duty, Guard and Reserve service members, and their immediate family members a 10% discount on most merchandise.
Target is offering its annual military discount for the second year. A 10% military discount is also available at the store on Veterans Day.
The new Target July 4 military discount, like its yearly Veterans Day military discount, can be used on two separate transactions or orders online or in person.
The offer is valid all year, not just on July 4th. Instead, it can be redeemed twice between June 26 and July 4, according to Target's website.
How To Avail of Discounts for military members at Target on July 4th
Customers must first register a Target Circle account and verify their military or military-connected status to be eligible for the Independence Day discount.
"Simply log in to Target Circle and verify your military status. All we'll need is paperwork confirming your military status (a Veteran ID Card, for example), and we'll be good to go, "According to the Target website.
Users can visit the Target military registration website after registering for a Circle account and entering their or their service member's or veteran's details. They'll be asked to attach a supporting document that demonstrates:
- The complete name of the military person
- The service branch of the service member
- The date of the military member's discharge (if applicable)
- Information regarding a service member's current military status.
Additional paperwork requirements may be required depending on whatever service connection option you choose on the first screen. For verification, Target uses the safe SheerID system.
While there are no particular limits for Target's new July 4 military discount, the Veterans Day discount typically excludes a list of products.
