Orlando Veteran’s Group Rallies Against Alleged 'mismanagement'
The group Concerned Veterans of America for Central Florida linked up with local veterans and activists Friday for a rally at the Lake Nona VA medical facility.
They want to raise awareness of what they call scandals the VA has had with mismanagement of patients’ scheduling.
The groups said delayed care has ended in tragedy for many veterans.
Group leaders requested documents and looked through publicly available records, which they said suggest problems with VA wait-time numbers nationwide.
The group said it has obtained documents that provide more of the story of how the VA is putting up additional obstacles to keep veterans out of community care and in the VA system.
Concerned Veterans for America says it advocates for policies that will preserve the freedom and prosperity of veterans and their families.
