Hope for Warriors Gets Grant From Investment Bank

Hope for the Warriors will be able to change more lives for veterans thanks to a grant they recently received from social impact investment agency American Veterans Group, the only public benefit corporation on Wall Street.

Hope For The Warriors is a non-profit organization that offers programs that support military transitions, healthcare and wellness services, engagement with the community, and more connectivity for veterans and their families.

As a result of this grant, Hope For The Warriors will provide professional and financial assistance to four underemployed and unemployed veterans in Fairfax County, Va.

American Veterans Group participated in issuing Fairfax County sewer revenue bonds as part of its investment banking team this year. American Veterans Group is an investment banking firm dedicated to supporting veteran causes in the communities in which it operates.

“We share a common goal with Hope For The Warriors and that's a strong desire to meet the evolving needs of service members and their families across the country" according to Ben Biles, co-founder and CEO of American Veterans Group.

Hope For The Warriors assists military personnel and their families throughout the country. In 2006, military families at Camp Lejeune, N.C., who experienced first-hand the effects of war on service members and their families founded this organization. The headquarters is located in Northern Virginia.

Hope For The Warriors continues to be rooted in family values as it expands its programs and supports more veterans.

The CEO and co-founder of Hope For The Warriors, Robin Kelleher, expressed appreciation to the American Veterans Group for their assistance.

“AVG's gift will make a positive and tangible difference to a community that is hardworking and dedicated but needs assistance in finding meaningful employment outside service to our country," Kelleher said.
