Military Discount Expanded at the Home Depot

Home Depot is reaffirming its commitment to serving the U.S. military community by offering a military discount benefit to all U.S. veterans, active service members and spouses.

Active military and their spouses can pre-register via The Home Depot app and receive a 10% discount on online and in-store purchases. The customer app allows customers to access the discount beyond the store's aisles and makes it easier for them to check out when using the discount.

We're proud to expand this Military Discount Benefit for families who have sacrificed so much for our country," said Ted Decker, president and COO of The Home Depot. "From our product discount to The Home Depot Foundation's commitment to veteran causes, our dedication to our servicemen and women has never been stronger."

The Home Depot supports the military with this new Military Discount Benefit. Since 2011, The Home Depot Foundation has given more than $400 million to veteran causes and improved more than 50,000 veteran homes and facilities. The Foundation has committed to investing half a billion dollars in veteran causes by 2025.

Semper Fi & America's Fund, U.S. Veterans, Volunteers of America, Habitat for Humanity, Operation Homefront, and Volunteers of America, among others, honored the Foundation's 10 years of partnership and support for veterans.

As a company with more than 35,000 associates who are veterans and military spouses, The Home Depot also supports hiring the military community. The company was recognized as the company's 19th consecutive year of being recognized as a military-friendly company.
