The facts behind the viral news:

At first glance, you would think the Delaware Ohio News website is a legitimate news site; however, it is a satirical website.

Toward the bottom of this webpage, the following information is shared: “Delaware Ohio News is an online news source dedicated to Delaware, Ohio. Founded in 1808, we aim to be Delaware's most trusted news source, second only to the Delaware Gazette. Even though we were Delaware, Ohio's first newspaper, they hold the greatest position in news media in Delaware. That's why we're suicidal and addicted to drugs."

In light of these factors, everything on this site is made up, and this website's news articles are not factual information sources.

Among other disclaimers found in a legal statement section on the site, reading: "Any stories depicted herein are parodies (satires, fictions, fakes, not real) of people and actual events.
