The Medicare prescription drug plan (Part D) is currently available to all Medicare Part A or Part B members. Almost all of TRICARE – Medicare beneficiaries can purchase this plan at no added cost, provided they currently are covered by TRICARE. An exception is given to those individuals who are financially constrained and are eligible for Medicare’s additional assistance with prescription drug program costs.

When making the decision to enroll in the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) program, take into consideration the monthly premiums, copays, deductibles and medicine coverage provided by other prescription drug programs including the TRICARE Pharmacy Program. The options provided available in this Plan will vary depending on your location.
