Should the military upgrade Air Force One?

President Trump has been highly enthusiastic about the new deal with Boeing for Air Force One aircraft. 2 new Air Force One planes are supposed to cost $3.9 billion and will be delivered by 2021.
Proponents of the upgrade consider it necessary as the old models have been in circulation since the past 30 years and are no longer highly effective. Opponents believe it is an extravagant waste of taxpayers’ money.

What do you think? Should the military upgrade Air Force One?

It seems if we are considering that Air force one makes it seem outdated in tech. We don’t know what tech it has so we can’t be on either side. If the last time we upgraded it was like 1960 then yes but if it was like 2016 I’d say no.

The air frame is sound. A complete remodeling is not necessary when there are homeless people and children going hungry. Update the electronics, fly the beast, and be happy there is an Air Force One.

You can’t possibly say yes or no when you have NO idea what’s in it and what it needs (if any). UNFORTUNATELY, that is all classified, in this case as a taxpayer you may only hope our representatives make the right choice and use taxpayers money efficiently, effectively and honestly. Correct me if I am wrong.
