Does CBD Help With Parkinson's Disease?

Studies show that veterans may be at an increased risk of Parkinson’s disease (PD) because of the nature of their service. Evidence indicates that one of the causes of Parkinson’s disease may be exposure to herbicides or pesticides. In the Vietnam War, several veterans were exposed to Agent Orange, a mix of herbicides that was used by the US military to defoliate trees and remove concealment for the enemy.

What Is Parkinson’s Disease?

Parkinson’s is a challenging neurodegenerative disorder that causes a combination of motor and non-motor symptoms. The symptoms include tremors, weakness, stiffness, dizziness, anxiety, and sleeplessness. Over 10 million people across the world suffer from this disease. Anecdotal reports and several studies indicate that CBD may help manage both motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

Let’s explore the benefits of CBD oil for patients with Parkinson’s.

How Does CBD Oil Work?

The human body naturally produces cannabinoids, which control functions like appetite, mood, sleep, and other processes by interacting with receptors throughout the body and brain. These receptors are primarily found in the basal ganglia, which is a part of brain cells that controls movement. This part is adversely affected by Parkinson’s. Research shows that cannabinoids in CBD bind to the receptors in our body and brain.

CBD Oil Improves Quality of Life

A person’s quality of life, including psychological and emotional issues, gets adversely impacted when he/she has Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, motor challenges like tremors, balance issues, and slowness of movement make it difficult for a patient to function normally. A 6-week study of 21 patients with Parkinsons’ disease who were given either CBD or placebo, showed those taking CBD experienced a better quality of life.

Mitigates Pain and Stiffness

Uncontrollable tremors, or shaking, affect about 70 percent of people with this disorder. However, stiffness is also a typical symptom of Parkinson’s disease. It doesn’t let the muscles stretch or usually relax. CBD oil significantly reduces rigidity, as well as pain and irritability.

Helps With Insomnia

A study of CBD’s effect on sleep at the University of Colorado Hospital showed that CBD oil greatly improved the patients’ sleep who were taking CBD Oil. It soothes the muscles in the body, thereby improving the quality of sleep.

Anti-Inflammatory

Clinical studies show that CBD oil is an excellent antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory effects on joints. Regular use of CBD Oil results in a significant decrease in pain and stiffness.

Controls Psychotic Symptoms

Nearly 20 percent of all patients with Parkinson’s disease experience some form of illusions, paranoia, hallucinations, or delusions. This is medically known as psychosis. Low levels of dopamine characterize Parkinson’s. When medications are given to boost the level of dopamine, it often triggers psychotic experiences. A study on Parkinson’s disease patients with psychosis showed that CBD decreases the associated symptoms for at least 3 months significantly. CBD’s neuroprotective properties delay the progression of this disease.

Bottomline

CBD industry is still going through ongoing research. So far, the results look very promising. It is a non-addictive and safe alternative to chemical-based medicines. It has countless benefits with almost no side effects. Don’t forget to speak with your doctor or a healthcare professional before you start using CBD.

Around age 60 I noticed that my handwriting was getting smaller and I was writing faster. I also noticed a small tremor in my right hand. The doctor went over my different symptoms and he suspected I’d either had a small stroke or the beginnings of Parkinson ‘s disease. After finding a neurologist and some testing I was diagnosed with the beginning stages of Parkinson’s disease. That was 4 years ago. I took Sinimet four times a day to control my symptoms, which include falling, imbalance, gait problems, swallowing difficulties, and slurring of speech, A year ago, I began to do a lot of research and came across Rich Herbal Gardens (ww w. richherbalgardens. c om) and their Parkinson’s HERBAL TREATMENT. After seeing positive reviews from other patients, I quickly started on the treatment, I experienced significant reduction/decline in major symptoms, including tremors, muscle weakness, speech problems, difficulty swallowing, balance problems, chronic fatigue and others, The truth is you can get off the drugs and help yourself by trying natural methods, i live symptoms free.

I was diagnosed with Juvenile Parkinsonism at 16 after two years of doctor visits, tests and scary misdiagnoses. I remember being perfectly healthy, never even having had the flu until I was diagnosed. I was 47 at the time and was out to dinner with my family to celebrate after I got promoted at the office. While in the middle of a conversation with my mom, I passed out. About 30 seconds later I popped my head back up and continued like nothing had happened, while everyone looked like I was crazy. I lived with this all my life till someone told me about madida parkinson disease herbal formula. I place an order from their website at www . madidaherbalclinic .weebly .com, I was on madida herbal treatment for 16 weeks and this year i felt no sign or symptoms of Parkinson disease again. Madida PD herbal formula get rid of my PD, I advise anyone sick to give their herbal treatments a trial because it work effectively with no side effects.

I am 65 years old, I was diagnosed of Parkinson’s disease at the age of 59. I had severe calf pain, muscle pain, slurred speech, frequent falls, loss of balance, difficulty getting up from sitting position. i was on Carbidopa and Pramipexole for two years, as the disease progressed my symptoms worsened, with my neurologist guidance i started on natural PARKINSON’S DISEASE TREATMENT from Rich Herbal garden (ww w. richherbalgardens. c o m). The treatment worked very effectively for my Parkinson’s, most of my severe symptoms simply vanished within the first 3 months on the treatment, i feel better now than I have felt in years and i can feel my strength again. My neurologist was very open when looking at alternative medicines and procedures, this alternative Parkinson’s disease treatment is indeed a breakthrough.

In February last year, I was diagnosed of PARKINSON DISEASE. I started out taking only Azilect, then Mirapex and sinemet as the disease progressed but didn’t help much. In July, I started on PARKINSON DISEASE TREATMENT PROTOCOL from Herbal Health Point (ww w. herbalhealthpoint. c om). One month into the treatment, I made a significant recovery. After I completed the recommended treatment, almost all my symptoms were gone, wonderful improvement with my movement and tremors
