What is an Alliance Account?

An Alliance Account is an interest-bearing draft account in the name of the beneficiary. The beneficiary gets a draft book so he or she can write any number of drafts or checks up to the full amount in the account. In this way, important financial decisions can be made by the beneficiary while at the same time, his or her money remains safe and continues to earn interest. There are no monthly or per check fees and no additional cost for extra checks. However, there is a fee for some services such as stop payment orders, returned checks, and copies of statements.
