What is a fiduciary?

A fiduciary refers to an entity or a person who has been appointed to receive funds under the laws laid down by the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in a representative capacity. This is done to benefit a Veteran, minor, or other beneficiary who has been determined to be unable to manage their financial affairs.
