What does VA provide to veterans who have suffered polytraumatic injuries?

Polytrauma care is provided to patients who have suffered serious physical or internal organ injuries which may be life threatening or could result in a functional disability. Some injuries could result in cognitive or psychological impairment, such as Serious Brain injury, loss of sight or loss of hearing, amputations or even burns. There are Polytrauma Rehabilitation centers that can also help patients if necessary.
