Today is the world of the internet. Everything is provided on the internet. The VA has developed an official website that allows the vets to manage their health-related information and to know any applicable criteria. The basic purpose is to add ease to the life of vets by providing all the information at one place.
The registered users will be able to copay balances, view appointments, and perform other important actions. The website allows access to:
- Health information
- Important links related to VA benefits
- Online services
- Personal Health Journal
Personal Health Journal is the one that provides the important features that will help you in managing your healthcare activities. It includes:
- Contact information
- Treatment locations
- Health care providers
- Treatment location
- Health insurance information
The Personal Health Journal will help you in many other matters as well. It will allow you to design a wallet ID card, a card that will add convenience to your life. It will allow you to record the significant events from your past service in the military and the tasks that are directly or indirectly related to your health. There is also a space where you can list your allergies, etc.
The website also allows the vets to have a look at his medication, drugs, and supplements. You can simply record all relevant information including the start date, end date, comments etc.
Test date, test name, test location, name of provider, comments, results and many other things can be tracked. You can have a look at the complete history for different purposes. All you need is to register on the website. There are many functions on the website. One of them is Health eLogs. It will allow the users to track previous records of so many health aspects including:
- Pain
- Heart rate
- Body weight
- Body temperature
- Cholesterol
- Blood sugar
- Blood pressure

Posted at 17:35h, 16 JulyMy health ever website is horrible! After several attempts, I was finally able to change my password, but when I try to log in it doesn’t work.!
I was also told I need to upgrade to a Premium account, I already jumped through all of the hoops such as providing ID, etc., but to upgrade to Premium account it says you have to verify ID all over again! Why?! My frustration with this has made me angry beyond words. I never have gotten so frustrated & angry about something in my life! I’m so done! You might as well get rid of this website! It’s totally useless!!!!!!!

Posted at 02:41h, 20 DecemberI have an account at the Advanced Level. Was told to communicate with my PCP via this web site and secure messaging. Problem is that I need a Premium account to do this. I filled out the paperwork during my first and only visit to the medical center. My account was never upgraded. Problem I have now is that over a hundred phone calls I have never been able to speak with anyone. I gave up. No voice mail, terrible IVR systems, etc. It’s a giant communications barrier for the patient to the provider. I suspect this is intentional just like the telecom companies push the frustration envelope on their support side; which is intentional (know the industry well). My anger with the VA isn’t good for me or them so I am walking away. I can’t believe these people are allowed to live off taxpayers and provide such a poor service to vets.

I told my doctor we could exchange my health information through the hospital email service.
I am awaiting further instructions regarding several labs performed at my last visit.

Posted at 02:35h, 02 NovemberI have a neighbor who is a veteran in a wheelchair and his wife has dementia. There is a girl that comes for 3 hours 3 times a week. She washes a couple dishes and takes out the trash and sweeps at the floor the next 2 1/2 hours she is sleeping coloring or washing her personal clothing. They should not be living in this condition. They have no heat in the house they use the burners on their gas stove for heat, bugs are bad house is not clean. I could go on and on . Can someone get these people some help please.

Posted at 19:38h, 16 OctoberThis site must have been designed just to see how much frustration it can cause! I’m curious did anyone ask a Veteran to try it before you published it? It’s called a rehearsal. I received a copy of how to sign up from my local clinic and it does not mirror this site in anyway. The Log in site is listed as myhealth.va.gov which does not exist. This is why Vets get frustrated and angry at the VA! You can’t even publish a login instruction sheet that matches up with your website. We would have had our heads handed to us when we served and yet now are served by incompetence!

Posted at 19:50h, 10 OctoberHow do get to the signin page? Need to refill Meds for my heart. I already went through several links and couldn’t find what I’m searching for. This is why I don’t trust the VA. The front web pages of the VA is so messed up. Perhaps the VA has something sinister in what they want to delete from the Veterans. I have not received any physical mail from the VA. This new webpage has come as a surprise to me. What ever the VA wants to tell me I can take it. Just don’t hide behind curtains. My file has my current physical address and phone number.
