02 Jul Veterans Advocate Foundation
The Veterans Advocate Foundation was founded in 2012 to provide support and assistance to personnel serving in the U.S. Military.
There are two major aspects to the Foundation’s mission:
1. If you are serving in the U.S. military community, and you lose your life in an operational mission or training accident, the Foundation will ensure your children receive a full college education, including tuition, books, fees, room & board, computer and printer.
2. If you are severely wounded while deployed, the Foundation will provide immediate financial assistance and support to ensure your loved ones can be at your bedside during your recovery. The VAF provides a $3,000 stipend to help offset unexpected expenses.
Although there are other charitable organizations that give financial aid to military personnel and their families, we saw a need for immediate financial assistance. Therefore, the Foundation provides $3,000 in cash to families of military personnel hospitalized with severe wounds; which the recipient(s) may use for travel, child care, food and lodging.
The foundation’s I.R.S. Tax I.D. number is 25-1483685. The Combined Federal Campaign number is 12465.

Posted at 22:42h, 10 OctoberI do know Tam’s taken at least one veteran to barfkeast. (I have reference to me; I was slicing through the area that week, and we contrived to meet one morning. One of the high points of that road trip, if I say so myself.)
