Do you support or oppose a blanket ban on the immigration of any person who lives in a country where there has been a history of terrorism against the west?

“Executive Order 13769, titled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States, also referred to as the Muslim ban or the travel ban, was an executive order by President Donald Trump. Except for the extent to which various courts blocked it, it was in effect from 27 January 2017, until 16 March 2017.
The signing of the order stirred widespread rebuke and demonstrations which resulted in legal intervention against the enforcement of the law. Trump had previously summoned for temporarily banning Muslims from America soon after the 2015 San Bernardino terrorist attack because the affected countries had a Muslim majority.
What are your thoughts? Do you support or oppose a blanket ban on the immigration of any person who lives in a country where there has been a history of terrorism against the west?

Today is the day. Now is the moment. Vote for change.

I am a quadriplegic US Citizen and my husband recently got his immigrant visa issued on February 4, 2020. We have also applied for his Permanent Resident card.. We are both well educated. I have a Masters degree and am one exam away from completing my second Masters degree. My husband is a highly qualified Mechatronics Engineer. We were planning on having him join me in Southern California on March 28, 2020, but due to Coronavirus related flight cancellations and airport closures, we are stuck being separated at a time when I need him the most. Being quadriplegic means that I need caregiver help to perform basic life-sustaining functions, things that almost no able-bodied person ever has to think about. On Wednesday this week, I will be losing one of my two caregivers and, quite frankly, *I am not sure how long my other caregiver will continue working. Being an immigrant myself (I legally moved to the US in 1998 and got my US Citizenship in 2014), I have no family in the US, I have always worked and paid my dues. So, I reiterate…I need my husband with me or I will be just another COVID-19 casualty.
