When the U.S. government is deciding which immigrants to admit to this country, should priority be given to people who have family members already living in the U.S., or should priority be given to people based on education, job skills and work experience?

When the U.S. government is deciding which immigrants to admit to this country, should priority be given to people who have family members already living in the U.S., or should priority be given to people based on education, job skills and work experience?

“President Trump made some substantial campaign promises around measures to curb immigration. He is making sure that H-1B visa is only awarded to highly-paid skilled immigrants. He doesn’t want American industries to go to foreign workers that are paid less than their U.S. counterparts.
On August 2, 2017, Trump endorsed a Senate bill that restricts legal immigration. It will give priority to financially self-sufficient, highly skilled, English speaking immigrants. It would deny green cards to adult children and extended relatives of current green card holders.
What do you think? When the U.S. government is deciding which immigrants to admit to this country, should priority be given to people who have family members already living in the U.S., or should priority be given to people based on education, job skills, and work experience?”

Today is the day. Now is the moment. Vote for change.
