I parted from service in the Navy during the year 2009 and by that time I had obtained my associate’s degree already. Veterans can think about the benefits of the Montgomery GI Bill but this bill is useful to only pay a flat rate fee each month, irrespective of whatever place in the country they live in. The veterans apart from paying this money for housing will also have to manage the expenses met for all the other things like books, tuition, fees and school supplies. It is also important to notice that this Montgomery GI Bill pays a flat rate that is currently $500 lesser than that which the Post-9/11 GI Bill pays as monthly allowance for housing.
