Trials of Unemployment amongst Veterans

Though the standard redundancy rate falls at 8.3%, when arriving at a percentage amongst males of the age group 18 – 24, it is 17.6%. The redundancy rate of male military servicemen is however, 29.1%. On the other hand, the redundancy rate of female servicewomen is 12.4%. The Service has many features that are attractive to the private sector businesses. The one disadvantage though is the levels of education and expertise. Regrettably most veterans of the military are lacking in proficiency and qualifications to satisfy a fast declining collection of jobs. An alternative task is to prepare a professional resume. Most Military officials agree that a resume of a veteran is a primary factor to transitioning from military to civilian jobs. Further to preparing an excellent resume, an important element of acquiring employment is the ability to face an interview successfully.
